Basic Comprehensive Hypnotherapy Training
(200-hour curriculum)
 

The basic comprehensive hypnotherapy training is offered twice annually in the weekend format (twelve weekends), and once annually in the evening
format (two evenings per week). The 200-hour basic training consists of
the following classes:

101: Introduction to Hypnotherapy

    History and theory of hypnosis
    Benefits and uses of hypnosis as a therapeutic tool
    Levels of consciousness
    Induction and deepening techniques
    The special language we use to dialogue with the subconscious
    Use of metaphors, storytelling, and post-hypnotic suggestions
    Building rapport
    Pre-induction interviewing
    Session structure and outcome strategy

151: Counseling Skills

    Counseling and communication skills; Building rapport; Active listening; Expressing empathy; Assessments for suicide.

201: Gestalt Hypnotherapy

    Emotions: What are they, and where do they come from?
    Working with resistance: To feelings, to knowing, to being
    Transforming relationships without confrontation
    Completing communications
    Healing unfinished business with others (both living and deceased)
    Protocol for Gestalt Hypnotherapy

203: Regression Therapy I

    Regression to release the trauma and emotional conflict of a wounded childhood. Learning to nurture the innate qualities of the authentic nature of the child within.

300: Relationships and Codependency

    Accessing the ability to meet our own needs
    Breaking the Romance and Codependency cycles

    Accessing and utilizing the subconscious ideal image of the perfect mate

     

301: Inner Harmony, Inner Guides

    Meeting the Yin and Yang forces of the psyche
    Balancing the masculine and feminine energies
    Accessing our inner wisdom
    Accessing our "observer" self that sees the bigger picture
    Accessing our inner guidance that has the solutions to the problems

302: Regression Therapy II - Past Life Therapy

    Theories of past life regressions
    Benefits of past life regression therapy
    Past life regression techniques
    Accessing creativity
    Releasing past life contracts and agreements that are no longer serving us
    Releasing trauma from past lives
    Regression to past life experiences that influence present situations, behaviors, phobias, allergies, etc.

303A: Parts Therapy I

    Identifying the various aspects of our personality
    (Inner judge, inner critic, inner cynic, inner rebel, inner victim),
    Uncovering secondary gains for unwanted behaviors 
    Psychodrama

303B: Parts Therapy II

    Uncovering additional secondary gains for unwanted behavior
    Discovering “hidden” motivations/saboteurs
    Accessing “hidden” resources
    Bringing aspects of our personality into harmony around conflicting issues

404A: Addictions I

    Study of addictive patterns
    Identifying "instead" behaviors to avoid pain, conflict, and fear
    Identifying old beliefs, traumas, and coping identities that are using old methods to handle stress and change
    Encoding new insights, beliefs and behaviors to old triggers
    Specific protocols for quitting smoking

404B: Addictions II

    Focuses on Weight Mastery. Move beyond the one-dimensional  approach to weight loss. Utilize all 7 functions of the subconscious mind. Go beyond physical cravings. Discovering the psychological issues linked to compulsive eating.  Specific protocols and exercises for facilitating individuals and groups in mastering weight and eating for success.
