Course Description
Introduction to Hypnotherapy: In this comprehensive introduction, you’ll: • Discover what hypnosis truly is — and separate fact from fiction • Understand the conscious vs. subconscious mind and levels of trance • Master core techniques: multiple induction styles, deepening methods, and effective trance delivery • Recognize signs of trance and minimal cues • Create powerful hypnotic suggestions and anchor post-hypnotic outcomes • Explore suggestibility testing — and the difference between suggestibility and gullibility • Learn essential legal and ethical principles for safe, professional practice Counseling Skills: Because effective hypnosis starts with genuine connection, this program also strengthens your interpersonal and counseling abilities. You will practice: • Active and reflective listening • Building rapport and empathy • Reading body language and asking transformative questions • Using “I” statements and managing transference • Recognizing client blind spots and assessing risk factors These skills help you create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to change. This class teaches the knowledge and skills required to perform hypnosis using scripted inductions.
